Santiago de Compostela 4-23-2011 Jueves Santo

Y aquí estoy, sentada en el suelo, al mero medio de la Plaza, frente a la bellísima Catedral de Santiago de Compostela.

And here I am skating on the floor, in the center of the plaza of the Cathedral. What a gorgeous morning.

I broke away from the group and went staight into the Catedral. Same as yesterday, I prayed and cried. This time I took confesión. God hear my prayer.

Out here in the courtyard I am listening to the sounds in the air. Bells! The church bells are ringing. I hear the chimes of a “Gaita” of a pilgrim. People talking in different languages. Children running and yelling, chasing birds. The whispering of the wind pssing by my ears and the warm sun heating my skin. The cool breeze caresses my faceand it makes the sun feel less hot. It is a wonderful and blessed day, filled with lots of joys!
