Obama’s 2008 Victory: America’s postmodern presidency and policies what can we expect?

POLITICAL COMMENTATOR AND AUTHOR REVEALS HOW WELL WE KNOW OUR PRESIDENT ELECT

Bookmark and Share

President-elect Obama has come of age in a postmodern era. Values have become culturally relative. Foundational truths appear less than compelling. President Obama will bring his many selves to the role of our Commander-in-Chief. But unlike academe, unlike community organizing, unlike his tenure in both the Illinois Senate and the U.S. Senate, the actions of his presidency will be consequential, according to political commentator and professional blogger, Dr. Diana E. Sheets.

As Congress discovered recently, there is a real downside to fiscal irresponsibility no matter how noble the intent. The consequences of failure by the Obama administration could be catastrophic. After all, it’s a real world out there, not a Virtual Reality, says Dr. Sheets.

An expert on politics and literature, Dr. Sheets uses a mix of literary and political techniques to ‘decode’ and provide the magic key to understanding our President Elect. Through her well-read blog, LiteraryGulag.com, Dr. Sheets reveals to the American public Obama’s postmodern presidency and policies and what we can expect over the next four or eight years.

Dr. Sheets can reveal to your readers:

A unique look at Barack Obama’s policy plans – from the economy and education to health care and foreign policy

Our postmodern President – what it means for the American public

The multiple selves of Barack Obama – An inside look at a man few really know

A final overview of the 2008 Presidential Election as understood through the narratives our elected candidate provided

What we can expect from the Democratic Party over the next four or eight years

Dr. Diana Sheets studied European History at the University of Colorado. She served as Director of the Women’s Center at Princeton University and took graduate courses there before getting her Ph.D. in European History with a minor in Literature and Politics from Columbia University. Sheets left academia for a corporate sales management position in the metropolitan New York region. After her stint in corporate America, she decided to write full time and took a position as a Research Scholar in the English and History Departments at the University of Illinois. Dr. Sheets has written two novels, The Cusp of Dreams and American Suite. She currently writes her own literary and political blog, www.LiteraryGulag.com.
