City College of San Francisco Spring Semester begins January 12
Credit courses fees are $20 per unit, non-credit courses remain free of
charge
SAN FRANCISCO, California, December 1, 2008 - The cost of attending
City College of San Francisco will remain at $20 per credit for the
Spring 2009 semester. Non-credit courses remain tuition-free.
Instruction for credit and non-credit, day and evening classes begins
Monday, January 12. Weekend classes begin Saturday, January 17. New
students can apply now and begin registering online starting December
11.
Students now have an opportunity to select from a total of nearly 5,000
sections of credit and non-credit classes, including foreign languages,
the arts, business, English as a Second Language (ESL), ethnic studies
(Latino, African-American, Asian, Philippine and Asian-American),
computers, engineering, fashion, biotechnology, the construction trades,
automotive repair, aircraft maintenance, health care, digital printing
and publishing, journalism, broadcasting, labor studies, horticulture
and floristry, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) studies, and
women's studies.
Busy working adults can choose to enroll in Distance Learning classes.
These include 80 online credit courses which student can access from
their home or office computers. Also available are 16 Telecourses, which
can be view conveniently at home.
If you are interested in an accelerated degree check out the Fast Track
program at the Mission and Southeast Campuses.
Credit students pay a health fee of $17 for the entire semester.
Financial aid is available for eligible credit and non-credit students.
